On the evening of July 9th, the night sky over Wanlv Lake in Dongyuan County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, was illuminated by a dazzling drone light show titled "A Million Miles for One – The Galaxy Meets the Lake." A fleet of 11,198 drones took off simultaneously in a breathtakingly synchronized formation, offering an extraordinary visual spectacle for visitors and spectators. The event successfully set a new Guinness World Record for the most drones flying simultaneously.

The performance opened with an act titled "Leaping Carp over the Lake," in which thousands of drones transformed into shimmering fish-like lights representing stars flowing into the lake. Each pattern was meticulously choreographed by the drones, breaking the record and conveying the deep cultural heritage of Wanlv Lake.

In the second act, "Battle of the Culinary Kings: A Feast of Fresh Fish," the drone swarm morphed into a celestial canopy, forming golden fireworks, fiery splashes, and a glowing Chinese character "鲜" (fresh) rising from the flames, a dynamic homage to the region's rich aquatic resources.

The finale, "Three Decades of Lucid Waters and Green Mountains," unfolded like a living scroll. Drones formed expansive landscapes — dams, mountains, and wildlife — visually narrating the ecological journey of Wanlv Lake from 1995 to 2025. The imagery paid tribute to 30 years of development of the region.

The record-breaking achievement was officially certified on-site by a Guinness World Records adjudicator, who verified and confirmed the final number of 11,198 drones. A certificate was presented following the successful validation of the record.

广东万绿湖无人机灯光秀刷新吉尼斯世界纪录

7月9日晚，万绿湖夜空被璀璨光影点亮，河源市东源县“万里挑一・星河入湖”无人机灯光秀上演。万架无人机同时升空编队，为游客与观众带去绝佳的视觉体验。这场无人机灯光秀也成功创下“最多无人机同时飞行”的新吉尼斯世界纪录。

表演开篇的“鱼跃龙门 开湖献礼”，万架无人机化身“星河鱼影”，每一个光影造型都由无人机精准勾勒，在挑战纪录的同时，讲述着万绿湖的悠久底蕴。

“厨王争霸 鲜鱼幻宴”篇表演环节，无人机群化作“星火天幕”，厨神执铲引动的鎏金焰瀑、烈焰中升腾的“鲜”字光印。万架无人机的协同运作，让这道展现万绿湖丰饶的“鲜味史诗”更具冲击力。

“生态长卷 青山绿水30年”篇章里，无人机群铺展成万顷碧色长轴，大坝、青山、生灵等元素次第呈现，从1995到2025的30年光阴，在万架无人机的光影流转中缓缓铺陈。

据悉，此纪录由吉尼斯纪录认证官全程参与，经现场核实与公证，最终认证数量为11198架无人机，认证官在确认挑战成功后颁发了认证证明。
