On June 12th, it was reported that Guangdong's software industry revenue exceeded 2.27 trillion yuan in 2024, up 12% year-on-year, surpassing the "14th Five-Year Plan" target ahead of schedule. From January to April this year, the revenue grew by 8.6%, maintaining a leading position nationwide.

According to the "Report on 2024 Guangdong Software Industry Development," the software industry in Guangdong Province has achieved steady growth. From 2010 to 2024, the scale of Guangdong's software industry has grown from 244.5 billion yuan to 2.27 trillion yuan, an increase of over 8 times. In 2024, the revenue of Guangdong's software industry grew by 12% year-on-year, exceeding the national average growth rate by 2%.

Talent remains the core driver of industrial advancement. The report reveals that over 85% of employees in Guangdong's top 100 software firms hold college degrees or higher, with embedded software enterprises having the highest proportion of master's degree holders or above. The average annual salary in these leading companies exceeded 200,000 yuan, peaking in the internet sector.

Software servitization dominates industry trends. In 2024, IT services generated 1.5848 trillion yuan in revenue, accounting for 69.7% of Guangdong's total software income. Software products contributed 411.8 billion yuan, while embedded systems software revenue surged 15.9% year-on-year to 265 billion yuan, the fastest-growing segment.

从2.27万亿元到未来！广东软件产业“粤”动数字浪潮

6月12日记者获悉，2024年广东软件业务收入突破2.27万亿元，同比增长12%，提前超额完成“十四五”目标；今年1-4月，广东软件业务收入同比增长8.6%，稳居全国前列。

根据《2024年广东软件产业发展报告》，广东省软件产业实现稳健增长，2010年到2024年，广东省软件产业规模从2445亿元增长到2.27万亿元，增长超过8倍；2024年，广东省软件业务收入同比增长12%，高于全国平均增速2%。

人才是推动产业发展的核心竞争力。报告显示，广东软件产业前百家企业大专及以上学历人员占全行业比重超过85%，其中嵌入式软件行业硕士及以上学历最高。前百家企业人均薪酬超过20万元，其中互联网领域薪酬最高。

软件服务化成为行业发展的主导趋势。在2024年广东省软件业务收入中，信息技术服务收入15848亿元、占比最高达69.7%；软件产品收入4118亿元；嵌入式系统软件收入2650亿元，同比增15.9%，增速最快。
