On May 24, Kaan Baskurt, Consul General of Türkiye in Guangzhou, was interviewed by Yangcheng Evening News at the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair. He expressed Turkiye's pleasure in participating in this significant cultural event for the second time.

Turkiye's tourism appeal is undeniable, with the country hosting over 55 million visitors last year. The consul general warmly invited Chinese tourists to explore Turkiye, highlighting that beyond the well-known Istanbul, the country boasts numerous other destinations worth discovering.

He noted that Turkiye's southern coastline, with its crystal-clear blue waters, is ideal for diving, snorkeling, rafting, and coastal road trips, and is his personal favorite spot in the country.

Looking ahead, the consul general emphasized the deep historical ties between China and Turkiye spanning thousands of years and. He pointed out that Chinese investment in Turkiye is growing, while Turkiye's businesses are also active in cities like Shenzhen and Guangzhou. In his view, China-Turkiye relations are set to develop in a positive direction with a bright future ahead.

5月24日，土耳其驻穗总领事卡安·巴什阔特（Kaan Baskurt）在第二十一届中国（深圳）国际文化产业博览交易会上接受了羊城晚报采访。他表示土耳其很高兴能参加此次重要的文化盛会 ，这是他们第二次参展。

土耳其旅游业极具吸引力，去年土耳其接待了超过 5500万游客。总领事热情邀请中国朋友去土耳其旅行，除了著名的伊斯坦布尔之外，土耳其还有许多其他值得探索的地方。

他表示，土耳其南部海岸线非常美丽，拥有清澈湛蓝的海水，可以进行潜水、浮潜、漂流等活动，也可以沿着海岸自驾，这是他个人在土耳其最喜欢的地方。

关于中国和土耳其关系的未来发展，总领事指出，中国和土耳其有着数千年的深厚历史渊源，两国人民在文化上有着许多共同之处。近来，中国企业在土耳其的投资不断增加，同时，土耳其企业在中国深圳、广州等地也十分活跃。他认为，中土关系将继续朝着更加良好的方向发展，未来前景一片光明。
