On April 30th, the police robotic dog immediately became a crowd attraction upon its debut at Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, with onlookers snapping photos as if chasing a celebrity. The robot dog features a finely crafted exterior, integrating a lightweight explosion-proof shell with IP66-rated waterproof components, enabling it to withstand Guangzhou's high temperatures and frequent rain. Its biomimetic quadruped design allows it to traverse complex terrains such as covered alleys between arcade houses and steep steps inaccessible to traditional patrol vehicles.

Functionally, the police robotic dog is equipped with wireless audio, visual transmission via 5G, and sensors for emergency response coordination, enabling real-time data exchange with the command center. According to Luo Zhe, Deputy Leader of the Special Patrol Police team at Yuexiu Branch, Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, with a top speed of 18 km/h and 130-decibel safety reminders during operation, the robotic dog works in tandem with human patrols to achieve comprehensive prevention and control coverage.

“五一”假期，北京路步行街作为广州核心商圈，迎来客流高峰。为保障市民游客度过平安祥和的节日，广州公安首只具备多维感知能力的警用机械狗加入北京路步行街巡逻队伍，以科技助力实战警务。

4月30日，警用机械狗现身北京路步行街，立即成为焦点，不少市民游客纷纷拍照记录，跟拍场景如同追星。该机械狗外观设计精良，集成轻量化防爆外壳与防水组件，防水等级达IP66，能适应广州高温多雨天气；仿生四足结构使其可轻松穿越骑楼巷道、台阶陡坡等复杂地形，覆盖传统巡逻车辆难以到达的区域。

功能方面，警用机械狗具备视音频无线网络传输功能，通过5G网络与指挥中心、周边传感设备实时交互数据，可对突发事件及时预警响应。与它搭档执勤的广州市公安局越秀区公安分局巡特警大队副中队长罗喆介绍道，机械狗最高时速18公里，行走时循环播放130分贝的安全提示，与人工巡逻高低搭配，实现防控全覆盖。

此外，“五一”期间，承担北京路商圈安保任务的北京派出所将警力重点部署在步行街核心地段，不仅加强社会面巡控，还积极处理群众求助，如帮助寻找迷失的老人儿童、处理物品遗失等，兼顾安全与服务。随着“科技兴警”战略推进，更多智能装备将投入实战，推动“人力+科技”深度融合的现代化警务模式建设，持续守护城市安全。
