Recently, Chinese diplomat Zhang Zhisheng shared an image of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wearing a red dress, and cited a Weibo user who claimed the red dress was manufactured in a Chinese factory.

It was later confirmed that the dress worn by Leavitt was a product launched by the British brand Self-Portrait in 2024, and this particular dress was indeed manufactured in China.

"Accusing China is business. Buying from China is life." Zhang posted on X. 

最近，中国外交官、中国驻印尼登巴萨总领事张志昇在他的社交媒体账号上分享了一张白宫新闻秘书卡罗琳·莱维特身穿红色裙子的照片。张志昇在帖文中引用了一位微博用户的发言，称这条红色裙子是在一家中国工厂制造的。

后经鉴定，莱维特所穿的连衣裙是英国品牌Self-Portrait在2024发布的一款产品，而这款连衣裙正是在中国制造的。

“指责中国是生意，买中国货是生活。”张志昇在帖文中写道。
