Backed by a world-class manufacturing cluster and leveraging the innovation resources of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Guangdong's digital creative industry has established a growth model driven by "cutting-edge technology and soft power." Currently, the GBA is home to 29 national cultural industry demonstration zones. Among them, the Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park boasts an annual output value of 40 billion yuan. The Lingnan digital creative building, currently under construction on the Park's eastern side, is slated for completion in 2026. It will focus on AI applications and serve as a new engine for digital economy development.

LIZHI: China's "first online audio stock" takes root in Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park

Emerging business models such as audiobooks, knowledge-paid services, and live streaming have accelerated the growth of the "ear economy". Founded in 2013, LIZHI Inc., a pioneer in China's audio industry, took root in the Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park. It was listed on the Nasdaq in January 2020, earning the title of "China's first online audio stock".

"The Park's lush greenery was a major attraction when we first considered relocating," said Lyu Mingxin, Vice President of LIZHI. "For creative professionals like us, a scenic environment provides inspiration during breaks."

Beyond the scenery, the Park's prestigious status as "cultural industry demonstration bases at national level" was another factor. The concentration of digital creative enterprises here facilitates rapid resource integration and industry collaboration.

In recent years, LIZHI has partnered with Yangcheng Evening News on multiple initiatives, including the Huadi Audio podcast series, inviting cultural experts to discuss literary works and cultural trends.

According to CEO Mai Weijian, Lichuang was drawn to Yangcheng Creative Industrial Park, particularly for its thriving atmosphere. "The Park is located in the 'Keyun Road' area—a well-known hub for internet and gaming firms. Being surrounded by industry peers and partners in the supply chain creates a collaborative environment where resources can be seamlessly integrated," he said.

Looking ahead to the completion of the Lingnan Digital Creative Building, Mai expressed optimism: "No business can thrive in isolation today. The Building will bring even more digital enterprises together, fostering collaboration and innovation."

有声读物、知识付费和直播等新兴业务模式，促使“耳朵经济”加速驶入发展快车道。作为中国“耳朵经济”的先锋，创办于2013年的荔枝集团（以下简称“荔枝”）在羊城创意产业园“萌芽”，并于2020年1月在纳斯达克交易所上市，成为“中国在线音频第一股”。

“当时选择羊城创意产业园，首先被它的绿化环境所吸引。”荔枝集团副总裁吕明心表示，“我们做数字创意工作的，都喜欢在休息时间到环境优美的地方散散步，说不定能激发创意。”

除了环境，羊城创意产业园的一块“国字号”金招牌——“国家文化产业示范基地”也让吕明心很是惊喜。羊城创意产业园聚集了很多数字创意产业公司，让品牌资源快速地聚合起来，并助力企业开展行业间的交流。

《和平精英》的枪火硝烟在CG动画中升腾，《阴阳师》的式神在宣传PV中觉醒……这些引爆流量的视觉盛宴背后，是广州灵创互娱网络科技有限公司（以下简称“灵创互娱”）的创意脉搏在跳动。

据灵创互娱CEO麦伟键介绍，一开始他就看中了羊城创意产业园，觉得园区氛围好。“园区处在‘科韵路’一带，业内人士都知道，‘科韵路’是互联网和游戏公司的聚集地，这里有很多友商和上下游企业。正是这种'抬脚就能串门，转身即可合作'的生态，让企业两年间实现上下游资源的深度耦合。”

看着位于羊城创意产业园东侧的岭南数字创意大厦拔节生长，麦伟键表示对未来充满了期待，“现在做企业不能单打独斗。岭南数字创意大厦将更多的数字企业聚拢在一起，共同交流成长，必将碰撞出更多火花。”
