The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall’s East Square, which had been sealed off for about 10 years, revealed its new appearance
City Life | As the flowers bloom in spring, an ancient temple in Guangdong is being expanded. With its square sporting a new look, the green space has also become beautiful. The East Square of the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, located on the east side of the hall and above the subway concourse, had been sealed off for about 10 years due to subway construction. Following a greening restoration and landscape renovation project at the end of January 2025, it made a stunning debut in a brand-new appearance. This new urban living room in Liwan District has once again been revitalized. Adorned with greenery and facilities imbued with Lingnan elements, it offers a free and wonderful place for citizens and tourists to relax. As spring arrives, the golden trumpet trees planted in the square are in full bloom, enhancing the beauty of the ancient temple.
