On the 33rd International Day of Persons with Disabilities, December 3rd, Zhang Man, a physically disabled student majoring in accounting at Guangdong Peiying Vocational and Technical School, captivated audiences with a wheelchair dance, adorned in a bespoke Hanfu crafted by Zhou Qinfei, the 47th WorldSkills Competition's Fashion Design gold medalist.

Peiying Vocational and Technical School, the only secondary vocational education institution in Guangdong that enrolls students with disabilities, was preparing for a Hanfu showcase for the New Year's celebration. Initially, students were reluctant to participate, prompting the school to invite Zhou Qinfei to design a Hanfu for Zhang Man, hoping to inspire greater involvement.

Zhang Man, upon meeting Zhou Qinfei, shared her aspirations to don the Hanfu for a photoshoot and a wheelchair dance, with the goal of empowering fellow disabled students. Recognizing the challenge, Zhou Qinfei tailored a Mamianqun (colloquially known as the "horse-face skirt," a traditional attire of China's ethnic-majority Han people), adapting it for ease of movement with a shorter length, front structure modifications, and pleats to prevent exposure, all while adding three-dimensional beads for visual interest.

It was the first attempt for Zhou Qinfei to design for a disabled student, which a delicate balance of safety and functionality. "I hope this design helps them uncover their beauty and realize their potential to shine on broader stages," she expressed, wishing the best for Zhang Man.

The sight of Zhang Man's confident demeanor in her Hanfu filled Zhou Qinfei with joy: "It's more meaningful than I imagined," she remarked.

身穿马面裙，她在轮椅上起舞

12月3日是第33个国际残疾人日，广东省培英职业技术学校会计专业的肢体残障学生张曼，身穿第47届世界技能大赛时装设计项目金牌得主周芹妃亲手为自己设计制作的汉服，在轮椅上跳起了一段美妙的轮椅舞。

培英职业技术学校是广东省唯一一所招收各类残疾学生的中等职业教育学校，学校筹办元旦迎新联欢会汉服展示节目，学生因自身顾虑不敢报名，遂邀周芹妃为张曼定制汉服以带动更多学生参与。

张曼初见周芹妃就表达期待，希望穿着定制汉服拍写真、跳轮椅舞，为残障同学传递力量与自信。周芹妃了解情况后，决定为其定制马面裙，考虑到张曼行动不便，制作了短款改良马面裙，改良前片结构、做连褶处理防走光，还增添立体钉珠丰富层次。

这是周芹妃首次为残疾学生制衣，充满挑战，需兼顾安全性与实用性。“希望这一次设计，能让他们发现自己的美，发现自己有更多的可能性，能在更大的舞台上展示自我。”周芹妃在这身服饰上寄托了对张曼的祝福。

当看到张曼穿上汉服的自信模样时，周芹妃开心地笑了：“这是我意想不到的惊喜，感觉我的衣服被赋予了更多的意义！”
