On the afternoon of December 2, at the "Understanding China Through Sports" forum of the 2024 Understanding China Conference (Guangzhou), Olympic gymnastics champion, member of the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame, and Laureus World Sports Academy member Li Xiaopeng shared his deep connection with Guangdong, where he won two gold medals. He expressed great anticipation for the 15thNationalGames, which will be held across Guangdong, HongKong, and Macao. In his view, this is not only a grand event in the sports world, but also a valuable opportunity for the world to better understand China. 

12月2日下午，2024年“读懂中国”国际会议（广州）“在体育中读懂中国”专题论坛上，体操奥运冠军、国际体操名人殿堂成员、劳伦斯世界体育学会成员李小鹏讲述自己与广东颇有缘分，曾在这里收获两枚金牌。他非常期待将在粤港澳三地举行的第十五届全国运动会，在他看来，这不仅仅是一次体育界的盛会，更是一次让世界读懂中国的良好契机。
