According to data from ly.com, the overall travel market during the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival is primarily characterized by short-distance trips, with continuing trends of high frequency and diversified demand. The demand for medium and short-distance travel is robust in urban agglomerations such as the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Chengdu-Chongqing city cluster, and Central Plains cities, with the high-speed rail market for trips within 3 hours being the hottest.
On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, searches for "moon-admiring flights" have soared dramatically. Data shows that the search volume for these flights on ly.com in the recent week has increased over threefold compared to the previous week. Additionally, "moon-admiring hotels" recommended by various platforms, tailored to the characteristics of different cities, have also become a focal point of interest.
As of now, ly.com's data reveals that the top ten destinations for travel during the Mid-Autumn holiday are: Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Nanjing, Chengdu, Qingdao, Changsha, and Hangzhou. Notably, travel interest in Suzhou has seen a significant increase, with activities such as crab tasting and moon-admiring gaining popularity among younger travelers.
Shanxi's Datong and Shuozhou, key settings for "Black Myth: Wukong", the domestic gamelaunched in August, are also expected to experience a peak in visitor numbers during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Currently, bookings for Mid-Autumn travel in Datong and Shuozhou have increased by over double compared to last year.
As a traditional festival in China, the Mid-Autumn Festival boasts numerous long-standing customs. 据悉,中秋节当晚的“赏月航班”搜索热度大幅上涨,数据显示,近一周同程旅行平台中秋节夜间的“赏月航班”搜索热度环比上涨超过3倍。此外,各平台结合不同城市特点为用户推荐的“赏月酒店”也成为关注焦点。
截至目前,同程旅行平台数据显示,中秋假期旅行热度最高的十大目的地依次为:北京、上海、苏州、深圳、重庆、南京、成都、青岛、长沙、杭州。其中,苏州中秋旅行热度涨幅较高,品蟹赏月、苏州园林等成为年轻旅行者关注的玩法。
8月推出的国产游戏《黑神话:悟空》的重要取景地山西大同和朔州,也将在中秋迎来客流高峰。截至目前,大同和朔州中秋旅游预订热度同比增长均超过1倍。
