On the morning of July 17th, the 34th Hong Kong Book Fair opened at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Alongside, the Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo and World of Snacks were held simultaneously. Attracting 760 exhibitors, the three exhibitions will run for seven days until they conclude on July 23rd.

Hong Kong Book Fair 2024 is themed around "Film and Television Literature", inviting readers to delve into the pleasure of reading through both text and visuals.

In line with the theme, the third-floor "Art Gallery" showcases classic film adaptations of works by renowned authors, including Yi Shu's "The Story of Rose" and "The Golden Years", Li Pi-Hua's "Farewell My Concubine" and "Rouge", and Jin Yong's "The Deer and the Cauldron" and "The Book and the Sword". Visitors can view valuable items such as original novels, serialized old newspapers, posters, and film stills, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia.

The "World of Art and Culture" features cultural exhibits from 31 countries, including Argentina, Colombia, the Czech Republic, and France. A special AI interactive facility allows visitors to input specified keywords to recreate scenes from classic films, providing an exciting experience where visitors can use AI technology to indulge in a "screenwriting" adventure.

The highlight of this year's Sports and Leisure Expo is the mosaic photo wall set up by the Hong Kong Sports Institute. Visitors can take and print their own photos on-site, adding them to the wall to cheer on Hong Kong athletes preparing for the Paris Olympics.

The World of Snacks presents over 1,200 types of snacks, offering visitors a variety of classic treats from around the globe.

好看、好玩、好吃！香港书展、运动消闲博览及零食世界联袂开幕

7月17日上午，第34届香港书展在香港会展中心开幕。同步举行的香港运动消闲博览及零食世界，一共吸引760家展商参展。展览一连7天持续至7月23日闭幕。

本届香港书展的年度主题定位为“影视文学”，寄寓让市民读者从文字、影像中去细品不同影视文学作品，发掘阅读的乐趣。

结合本届主题，书展三楼的“文艺廊”展区展出了多位名作家的经典改编影视作品，包括亦舒的《玫瑰的故事》和《流金岁月》、李碧华的《霸王别姬》和《胭脂扣》、金庸的《鹿鼎记》和《书剑恩仇录》等，市民读者在现场可一睹原著小说、连载的旧报刊、海报和剧照等珍贵藏品，情怀满满。

在“世界文化艺术廊”展区，汇聚了来自阿根廷、哥伦比亚、捷克、法国等31个国家的文化展品；还特设了一台人工智能互动装置，观众通过输入指定的关键词，便可将经典影视作品的画面再创作生成新剧情的场景，让驻足体验的市民游客们运用AI技术过了一把“编剧”瘾。

本届运动消闲博览展最吸引眼球的，是香港体育学院在现场设置的马赛克照片墙，进场参观的市民可拍下自己照片并当场打印出来，贴到照片墙上为备战巴黎奥运会的香港健儿加油打气。

零食世界展区集结了超过1200款零食小吃，为市民游客呈献来自世界各地的各种经典小食。
