China's NEV manufacturers expand overseas rapidly | In Guangdong We Trust

On June 27th, the first batch of BYD’s mass-produced NEVs (new energy vehicles), the Song PLUS DM-i Champion Edition, rolled off the production line at its factory in Uzbekistan. Additionally, BYD signed a Green Transport Initiative cooperation agreement with the government of Uzbekistan to promote sustainable transportation.

Meeting the demand of the Central Asian market

BYD's Uzbekistan factory is located in the Jizzakh Region, and its establishment marks a significant milestone following the company's announcement of the joint venture in December 2022. In its first phase, the factory plans to produce two popular plug-in hybrid models: the Song PLUS DM-i Champion Edition and the Destroyer 05 Champion Edition. The annual production capacity is expected to reach 50,000 units to satisfy the sales demand in the Central Asian market.

Earlier this year, during their trip to China, the Uzbek leaders visited BYD's global headquarters and attended the launch ceremony of BYD’s factory in Uzbekistan. The factory's mass production promotes the adoption of new energy passenger vehicles in Uzbekistan. Besides, through the Green Transport Initiative cooperation agreement, BYD supports the development of Uzbekistan's NEV industry.

Rapid overseas expansion

From Asia to South America, and from the Middle East to Africa, Chinese NEV brands like BYD have been developing rapidly overseas.

Recently, SAIC MG held a series of significant events in the Middle East, including the opening of a 3S flagship store in Casablanca, Morocco, a major customer event in Dubai with its exclusive distributor in Saudi Arabia, and the launch of the new MG7 model in the Middle East market.

In May, while entering the Australian market, XPeng Motors held a launch event for its G9 model in Paris, planning to begin the deliveries in July, marking its entry into the French market. The model is priced between 59,990 euros and 73,990 euros in France.

XPeng Motors is enhancing its dealer network to further implement its sales strategy across Europe. By the end of this year, the company aims to establish 35 sales outlets in France, with hopes to expand to 55 next year. The XPeng G9 has been launched in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Germany, receiving strong recognition.

On June 20th, Google and the international market research firm Kantar jointly released the Kantar BrandZ 2024 Chinese Global Brand Builders report, presenting the latest developments of Chinese brands in international markets. Chery ranked first in the automotive category and 14th overall, making its seventh consecutive appearance on the list. Close behind Chery was BYD, with only eight scores less in brand strength.

中国新能源车加速“出海”:比亚迪乌兹别克斯坦工厂开始量产

6月27日,比亚迪乌兹别克斯坦工厂的首批量产新能源汽车宋PLUS DM-i冠军版正式下线。此外,比亚迪与乌兹别克斯坦政府签订了绿色交通合作倡议,旨在共同推广可持续的出行方式。

满足中亚市场销售需求

比亚迪乌兹别克斯坦工厂设在吉扎克州,该工厂的落成是继2022年12月比亚迪宣布合资建设工厂后的里程碑。第一阶段计划生产两款热销插电式混合动力车型,分别是宋PLUS DM-i冠军版和驱逐舰05冠军版。第一阶段年产能预计达5万辆,以满足中亚市场的销售需求。

今年年初,该国领导人在访问中国期间莅临比亚迪全球总部,出席见证了比亚迪乌兹别克斯坦工厂的生产启动仪式。此次工厂进入量产阶段,不仅加速乌兹别克斯坦新能源乘用车的普及,同时比亚迪与乌兹别克斯坦政府签订的绿色交通合作倡议,也有助于促进乌兹别克斯坦新能源汽车产业的发展。

海外拓展步伐迅猛

从亚洲到南美洲,从中东到非洲,以比亚迪为代表的中国新能源汽车品牌在海外拓展的步伐可谓迅猛。

近日,上汽MG在中东地区举办了一系列的重要活动。不仅在摩洛哥卡萨布兰卡开设了3S品牌旗舰店;而且与沙特阿拉伯的独家经销商一同在迪拜举办了一场大型大客户活动;还在中东市场推出了全新车型MG7。

小鹏汽车5月进军澳大利亚的同时,也在巴黎举行G9上市发布活动,计划今年7月开启交付,标志了其正式进入法国市场。2024款小鹏G9在法国售价区间为59990~73990欧元。

目前,小鹏汽车在欧洲地区主要通过完善经销商网络进一步落地销售战略。到今年年底,小鹏汽车将计划在法国落实35个销售网点,明年希望达到55个。小鹏G9已在挪威、丹麦、瑞典、荷兰和德国上市,产品实力备受认可。

6月20日,Google谷歌与全球知名咨询机构凯度联合发布《2024凯度BrandZ中国全球化品牌50强》榜单及报告,展示中国品牌在国际市场的最新发展态势。奇瑞位居2024中国全球化品牌50强汽车品类第一位,总榜第14位,这也是奇瑞连续第七次上榜。紧跟奇瑞身后,品牌力分数相差只有8分的就是比亚迪。
