Art and Culture | On April 19, the 2024 Guangdong Film Industry Promotion Conference will be held in the Beijing Film Market section of the Beijing International Film Festival. The conference will be an all-around event to show #Guangdong's film policy, industry, and works. Guangdong is the largest movie market in #China, leading the country at the #box office for 22 consecutive years. Up to now, Guangdong has more than 1,600 registered cinemas and over 10,000 screens, ranking first in the country. In recent years, Guangdong films have continued to show their strength in the creative field. The Guangdong #Opera film “Tale of The White Snake: Love” won the "Outstanding Feature Film" prize at the 19th Huabiao Film Awards, and "Lady Xian" won the “Best Opera Film” Award at the 36th Golden Rooster Awards. Realistic works "Chinese Doctors" and "The Photographer" were nominated for the Huabiao Film Awards, while the documentary films "Anisle" and "The Melody on The Canvas" were nominated for the Golden Rooster Awards. During this year's #Spring Festival, the Guangdong-produced #animated film "Boonie Bears: Time Twist" topped the box office of animated films during the Spring Festival in Chinese film history. #artandculture

4月19日，2024粤影之光-中国·广东电影产业推介会将于北京国际电影节北京市场单元举办。这将是一次全方位展现广东电影政策、产业、作品的盛会。

广东是全国电影第一票仓，票房连续22年领跑全国。截至目前，全省在册影院1600多家，荧幕超1万块，数量位居全国第一。近年来，电影粤军不断在创作领域展现实力。粤剧电影《白蛇传·情》获第十九届中国电影华表奖优秀故事片奖，《谯国夫人》获第36届中国电影金鸡奖最佳戏曲片奖。现实题材作品《中国医生》《照相师》获华表奖提名，纪录电影《不孤岛》《无音之乐》获金鸡奖提名。今年春节档，广东出品的动画电影《熊出没·逆转时空》成为中国影史春节档动画影片的票房冠军。
