The unique lighting ceremony was the exclusive attraction of New Year's #romance of Pai Tan's "Village Gala". Fishing lanterns were lit up one by one in the crowd, and the team of fishing lantern dancers slowly grew from a few to a dozen and finally expanded to nearly 500 and the pattern of a big #fish emerged. Thousands of lanterns were lit up, and the starry night was visualized at this time. 2月19日年初十晚,广州增城派潭第十六场“村晚”文化活动走进双合寮村,现场“鱼跃龙游”,烟花绽放,游人如织,一派热闹非凡的景象。
舞渔灯、闹新春,是派潭镇双合寮村肖氏宗族迁居派潭后每年春节期间都要举行的重要民俗活动,寓意“年年有余”“富足有余”。
独特的亮灯仪式是派潭“村晚”献给大家新年的浪漫,人群中渔灯逐一亮起,目之所及舞渔灯的队伍慢慢壮大,从开始的几人到十几人,再到几十人,最后扩充到近五百人,浮现出一条大鱼的图案,“千灯启明,星汉灿烂”在此时具象化了。随着锣鼓声响起,以两只凤鸡为首,村民们手持渔灯舞动起来,鱼群摇曳、浪卷云舒,队伍缓缓前进、渔灯栩栩如生。
