Deep Breath | Serhii Kulai from Ukraine and Jin Yuyan, a Chinese student, enter the Shaoguan National Forest Park, which is the largest South China Tiger breeding and research base in China.

The South China Tiger is about 2.5 meters long, smaller in size compared to other tigers, with a long and narrow body that can be well hidden when moving through forests. It has dense fur with bright colors, and an orange-yellow body covered with black stripes. The South China Tiger is a tiger subspecies unique to China and the most endangered one, ranking first among the world's top ten endangered animals. Currently, there are only about 250 left nationwide, and they are no longer seen in the wild. Shaoguan in Guangdong has many high mountains, canyons, rivers, lakes, and primitive forests, rich in species resources, and is known as the 'South China Biological Gene Bank.' It is believed that one day in the future, the South China Tiger will be able to return to the forest! #WildLingnan

华南虎的身长约2.5米，和其他老虎相比体型较小，身体又长又窄，在树林中移动时能很好地将身体隐藏起来，皮毛十分浓密，颜色十分鲜艳，全身橙黄色并布满黑色横纹。华南虎是我国特有的虎亚种，也是最濒危的虎亚种，居世界十大濒危动物首位，目前全国仅存250只左右，现在野外再也见不到了。广东韶关有许多高山峡谷，河流湖泊原始森林等景观，物种资源丰富，被誉为“华南生物基因库”，相信未来的某一天，华南虎一定可以重归森林！
