A Reserva Natural Nacional de Chebaling, em Cantão, descobriu uma nova espécie chamada Odorrana confusa. Esta é mais uma espécie nova encontrada na reserva natural nos últimos anos, após a descoberta de várias espécies raras, incluindo o Dendrobium shixingense. Juntamente com a descoberta da Odorrana confusa, foi também encontrada uma nova espécie registada na reserva, a Leptobrachella liui. Em conjunto com a recente descoberta de novas espécies de registo, isto reflecte a elevada riqueza e diversidade de anfíbios na Reserva de Chebaling. Esta descoberta indica também o sucesso significativo de mais de quarenta anos de esforços de conservação em Chebaling, com uma evidente recuperação e proteção da biodiversidade. #LingnanAnimal

Guangdong Chebaling National Nature Reserve has discovered a new species named Odorrana confusa. This is another new species found in the nature reserve in recent years, following the discovery of several rare species including Dendrobium shixingense. Along with the discovery of Odorrana confusa, a new record species in the reserve, the Leptobrachella liui, was also found. Combined with the recent discovery of new record species, it reflects the high richness and diversity of amphibians in the Chebaling Reserve. 广东车八岭国家级自然保护区又发现一个新物种，名为车八岭竹叶蛙（Odorrana confusa），这是近年来车八岭保护区继始兴环柄菇、始兴石斛、车八岭越蜉之后再次发现的新物种。此次发现车八岭竹叶蛙的同时，还发现了一个保护区的新记录物种——福建掌突蟾，结合保护区近年来新发现的东方短腿蟾、雨神角蟾等新记录物种，反映了车八岭保护区的两栖动物丰富度和多样性较高，也反映了车八岭保护区四十多年保护成效显著，生物多样性得到了很好的恢复和保护。
