In the paper-cutting studio, a “Canton Tower” paper-cutting work hanging on the wall attracted many, including a reporter from Yangcheng Evening News. Jiao Hanyu, a teacher at the school, told the reporter that this “Canton Tower” paper-cutting was made by a student with the help of the teacher after he visited Guangdong in the activity of enhancing national unity. The teacher added: “He has always longed to visit Guangdong and is grateful for the changes brought to Shufu County and the school with Guangdong's assistance to Xinjiang, and this time he finally fulfilled his dream.”

客家剪纸、皮影戏、醒狮、蛋雕……在喀什疏附县的明德小学里，广东元素遍布各处。在剪纸工作室内，一幅挂在墙上的“广州塔”剪纸作品吸引了记者的视线。老师焦涵玉老师向羊城晚报记者介绍，这是学校学生苏艾巴通过“民族团结一家亲”活动去广东回来后，在老师的帮助下一起完成的。“他一直都很向往广东，也很感激广东援疆给疏附县和学校带来的改变，这次终于登上广州塔圆梦了。”
