With the college entrance examination over, students are about to enter their desired universities. But where did scholars in ancient Guangdong, where there were no universities for study? 

As the provincial capital, Guangzhou used to have three official schools in ancient times - Guangfu Academy, Panyu Academy, and Nanhai Academy. Among them, Guangfu School was the highest institution in ancient Guangdong, producing many talents over the dynasties. After the abolition of the imperial examination system, the three academies declined. But in their surroundings, the pursuit of knowledge is still flourishing until today. For instance, the site of the Guangfu Academy includes Guangzhou No.13 Middle School and Wende Lu Primary School nowadays, continuing its millennial cultural tradition. 

岭南说｜这里曾是广东最高学府！至今仍然文风昌盛…… 

高考结束，学子们即将进入心仪的大学。那么在没有大学的古代，广东的读书人在哪里求学？ 

作为省城，广州在古代曾汇聚三大官办学校——广府学宫、番禺学宫、南海学宫。其中，广府学宫是古代广东的最高学府，曾为历朝历代培育出众多人才。科举制废除后，三大学宫也随之衰落，但其周边至今仍然文风昌盛。比如广府学宫所在地，便包括了现在的市十三中、文德路小学，千年文脉依旧传承不断。
