据统计，暑假以来广州塔站日均客流超6万，相比上月4.3万大幅增长，与2019年暑假同期日均6.1万相比，今年的客流也增长了约5%。广州塔站的爆棚，反映了广州景点“顶流”的吸引力。除了广州塔内景点，广州塔外的珠江边也挤满了游客。日落时分，不少游客聚集在此欣赏日落与对岸珠江新城美景。
