On June 28th, the 18th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) continued in full swing. Reporters learned that the current CISMEF has set up a dedicated exhibition area for time-honored enterprises in order to orient time-honored national brands towards better adaptation to the changing demands with a full play of their positive role in stabilizing growth, boosting consumption, and benefiting people's livelihoods, thus driving their innovative development and brand enhancement for high-quality growth.
At the entrance of the exhibition area for time-honored enterprises, a large crowd of visitors gathered in front of the booth of Foshan Xianglan Food Co., Ltd. On-site inquiry has revealed that Xianglan, a venerable brand hailing from Foshan, Guangdong, with over four decades of experience in the biscuit industry, has been granted the title of "Intangible Cultural Heritage" by the Chancheng District of Foshan, in recognition of its exceptional mastery of mooncake-making.
The company's manager, Huo Jian, introduced that they have unveiled a range of novel mooncake offerings that are poised to hit the market this year. By presenting their latest products and excellent productivity at CISMEF, the company hope to captivate the attention of the attendees prior to the Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional Chinese celebration that falls on the 15th day of the 8th month. Above all, their objective is to bolster their brand recognition by leveraging the platform provided by CISMEF.
In December last year, Guangzhou Baiyun Noodle Industry Co., Ltd.,a subsidiary of Guangzhou Grain Group(Lingnan Suiliang), and its brand "Baiyun Noodles" were included in the list of "Guangzhou Time-honored Brands" announced by the Guangzhou Time-honored Brand Association. Luo Guozhong, the Party Branch Secretary of the newly recognized Guangzhou Baiyun Noodle Industry Co., Ltd., expressed great anticipation for their participation in CISMEF. He told reporters that the company is the only state-owned manufacturer for noodle products in Guangzhou, with a storied history dating back over six decades. Through their participation in CISMEF, they aspire to amplify the prominence of time-honored brands, extolling the rich heritage and brand resilience of state-owned time-honored enterprises.
For over six decades, our unwavering mission has been to craft an exceptional bowl of noodles. However, given the swift evolution of the food industry, time-honored brands must also innovate, particularly in areas such as packaging and distribution. Going forward, we shall prioritize the development of online channels and the revitalization of our offline brand, endeavoring to forge novel avenues for growth," said Luo.
In fact, numerous age-old brands in Guangdong not only epitomize the quintessence of Lingnan culinary culture but also the profound bedrock of Guangdong manufacturing. At the event, the unveiling of paints "Television Tower Paint" by Pearl River Paint, a leading paint manufacturer based in Guangzhou, Guangdong. stirred up a wave of reminiscences for local denizens. It transpires that the emblematic Guangdong Television Tower, erected in 1959, once sported an advertisement for "Television Tower Paint." Even now, the "Television Tower Paint" brand radiates a resplendent aura.
Cai Minzhao, a member of the Party Committee of Pearl River Paint, Deputy Chief Engineer, and Director of the Technical Department, told reporters that to align with the requirements of the contemporary era, Pearl River Paint has spearheaded a novel range of products that are genuinely secure and ecologically sound, including high-flash-point paints and waterborne anticorrosive coating. This year, they will realize a comprehensive "de-hazardization" conversion of all retail paints, surmounting the restrictions of conventional industries in conveyance, warehousing, and application of anti-corrosion paints. "We will continue to innovate and strive to inject new impetus into the development of the 'Television Tower Paint' brand, and promote the growth and strengthening of our national brands, achieving high-quality development of Chinese brands," said Cai.
