During the three-day Dragon Boat Festival, the comprehensive resort Chuanlord Holiday Manor in Shunde, Foshan held a series of activities titled the “Folks of Dragon Boat Festival”. For tourists, the resort made a giant glutinous rice dumpling (also known as zongzi) that is nearly 3 meters tall, 4 meters long, and weighs 3.8 tons. A representative chef from the resort said that with over 80 hours of effort by a dozen chefs, the giant zongzi took more than 50 hours to steam. It was stuffed with full ingredients, including more than 1,300 kilograms of glutinous rice and pork, as well as various other ingredients like salted egg yolks, shiitake mushrooms, red beans, and peanuts, each with a minimum of 300 kilograms. # citylife

端午节期间，位于佛山顺德的长鹿旅游休博园推出“民俗端午节”活动，还为游客推出了端午节活动的“美食担当”——高近3米、长近4米、重达3.8吨的端午大粽子。据长鹿厨师代表介绍，“大粽子”是由长鹿十几位大厨耗时80多个小时制作出来的心血“结晶”。除此之外，还需要蒸煮50多小时才能把这个大粽子蒸熟。粽子用料十足，其中糯米和猪肉就有1300多公斤，里面还有咸蛋黄、冬菇、红豆、花生等各式食材，都是300公斤起步。
