The 28th edition of the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE) recently took place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Regarded as a global benchmark for the lighting and LED industry, this year's GILE sets new records in terms of exhibition space, number of exhibitors, and overall popularity, showcasing the industry's remarkable vitality.
Held concurrently with the Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology (GEBT), the event spanned across 22 exhibition halls, covering an expansive area of 220,000 square meters. It attracted 3,318 companies from 18 countries. Over the course of the four-day exhibition, staggering 207,681 professional visitors from 140 countries and regions were recorded, representing a notable increase of 61.9% compared to the previous year. Furthermore, numerous events were streamed online, garnering over 1.45 million views during the exhibition period.
Under the theme of "Light+", this year's exhibition focused on innovative applications and explored various themes such as "Light+AIoT", "Light+Healthy Environment", "Light+Sports", "Light+Art", "Light+City", and "Light+Energy". It showcased the latest achievements in optoelectronic technology in fields such as smart home appliance, intelligent agriculture, urban landscapes, healthy environment, and energy, while also bringing together companies, research institutions, design agencies, and targeted buyers to foster new thematic trade exhibitions.
The distribution of themed exhibition halls reflected The industry's development trends, with emphasis on intelligence, low carbon, and health. The exhibition also highlighted a trend of integration, combining "lifestyle" and "scenario applications" through technological advancements. Additionally, emerging popular sectors and refined solutions emerged within the industry, such as biophilic lighting, stadiums, and new energy.
Moreover, the GILE collaborated with dozens of Chinese and international industry associations, research institutions, universities, and design agencies, hosting 40 high-profile concurrent events that brought together hundreds of global industry experts and entrepreneurs. These events focused on innovative applications and development trends of "lighting" in specific scenarios, providing references and viable pathways for industry upgrading and differentiated enterprise development.

近日,第 28 届广州国际照明展览会(GILE)在广州中国进出口商品交易会展馆举办。作为全球照明及LED产业的风向标,本次展会面积、展商数量、人气等均创下历史新高,照明及LED行业重新展示出强劲的活力。
本届展会与广州国际建筑电气技术展览会(GEBT)同期举办,覆盖22个展馆,规模达220,000平方米,吸引全球18个国家3318家品牌企业集体参展,4天展期共接待140个国家与地区的专业观众达207681人,同比2022年上升了61.9%。多场活动进行了线上直播,展会期间浏览量超过145万人次。
本届展会以“光+”为主题,以创新应用为主线,聚焦“光+AIoT”“光+健康环境”“光+体育”“光+艺术”“光+城市”“光+能源”等主题,将光电科技在智能家居、智慧农业、城市景观、健康环境、能源等领域最新落地成果进行梳理提炼,同时整合企业、科研机构、设计机构和精准买家等,打造全新的主题展贸新生态。
从主题展馆的分布来看,智能、低碳、健康依然是照明产业发展的主旋律,同时呈现出融合趋势,基于“生活方式”和“场景应用”,在技术加持下融为一体。同时,行业也诞生了新兴热门赛道或者是场景的细化、解决方案的升级,比如生物光照、体育场馆、新能源等领域。
此外,本届 GILE 联合数十个国内外行业协会组织、科研机构、高等院校和设计机构,汇聚全球数百位行业专家和企业家举行 40 场高规格的同期活动。聚焦“照明”在细分场景下创新应用及发展趋势,为行业提质升级、企业差异化发展探寻参考方向和实践路径。
