On June 17th, the second "Dragon Boat experience for foreign friends" event kicked off at the training base of the Shunde Lecong Dragon Boat Team in Sanlongwan, Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

More than 70 high-level talents from over ten countries including Germany, Britain, Spain, and America gathered at Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City in Foshan to experience Dragon Boat Festival through the dragon boat race and zongzi, obtaining a deeper understanding of the unique charm of the Lingnan region.

With the powerful and rhythmic drumming, several dragon boat teams composed of talents from China and abroad, as well as members from the Lecong Dragon Boat Team, carried out training on water and dragon boat races on the Shaliang River. Shouting slogans and following the beat of the drums, participants waved the paddlers uniformly, creating a unique urban landscape in the summer of Sanlongwan. On the Shaliang River, the dragon boats raced like flying arrows; on the shore, the audience cheered and applauded, creating an intense atmosphere.

Besides dragon boat races, a series of interactive activities such as experiencing on-land dragon boats and making zongzi were also set up to help participants better understand the culture and history of Foshan.

This event is the second "Dragon Boat experience for foreign friends", which has seen an increase in scale and number of participants compared to last year. This year's event attracted more than 70 talents from China and abroad, including PhDs from Jihua Laboratory, Foshan Institute of Medical Microbiology and Foshan (South China) Institute of New Materials, as well as senior executives from large German companies. In addition, there were also talents from more than ten countries such as Britain, Germany, Spain, etc.

Foshan not only enjoys a long history of dragon boat culture but also a variety of colorful intangible cultural heritage, such as Foshan Kung Fu, Foshan Cantonese Opera, Foshan paper cutting, Foshan ceramics, Foshan Qiuse Parade and more. Both Chinese and foreign friends are welcome to come and experience them!

In the future, the Sanlongwan Sci-Tech City Management Committee in Foshan will continue to launch more international talent exchange activities, allowing talents from China and abroad to achieve a more direct and comprehensive understanding of Foshan's efforts to attract talents and improve the international service business environment, creating a "talent-friendly city".

6月17日，第二届“中外才子游龙舟”体验活动在佛山三龙湾乐从龙舟俱乐部训练基地开启。

来自德国、英国、德国、西班牙、美国等十多个国家，70多名在佛山工作生活的高层次人才欢聚佛山三龙湾科技城，挥桨击水，齐包粽子，感受浓浓端午味，领略岭南水乡别样的魅力。

伴随着铿锵有力、节奏明快的鼓声，沙良河上，多支由中外人才和乐从龙舟队员临时合作组成的龙舟队，展开了水上适应训练与龙舟比赛。大家喊着口号、合着鼓点，整齐划一地挥舞船桨，在沙良河水面上溅起一阵阵雪白的浪花，构成了三龙湾夏日里一道独特的城市风景线。河上，龙舟飞驰如箭，劈波前行；岸上，观赛观众掌声、欢呼声、加油声此起彼伏，气氛热烈。

除了龙舟竞赛，本次活动还设置了一系列丰富多彩的互动环节，如岸上划龙舟体验和包粽子环节等，让参与者更好地了解佛山的文化和历史。

今年是“中外才子游龙舟体验”活动举办的第二年，在规模和参与人数上，比去年更上一层楼。本次活动吸引了70多名中外高层次人才参加，既有来自季华实验室、佛山病原微生物研究院以及佛山（华南）新材料研究院的博士（后），也有来自德国大型企业的资深高管。此外，还有来自英国、德国、西班牙、美国、巴基斯坦、印度、马来西亚等十多个国家的高层次人才。

佛山不仅有源远流长的龙舟文化，还有各色各样、多姿多彩的非物质文化遗产，例如佛山功夫、佛山粤剧、佛山剪纸、佛山陶瓷、佛山秋色等，欢迎中外国际人才去亲身了解体验。

未来，佛山三龙湾科技城管委会也将继续推出更多的国际人才交流活动，让中外高层次人才更直观、更全面地了解到佛山在招才引智、全面提升国际化服务营商环境，打造“人才友好之城”。
