Egg carving art, one of the intangible cultural heritages, made a stunning appearance on June 10th at the Gansu booth in No.13 Hall of the 19th China International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF). As a traditional folk art that involves engraving and painting, egg-carving art is a representative project of Gansu Province's intangible cultural heritage. The thin eggshells after being meticulously carved become exquisite and visually pleasing artworks.

According to the introduction, egg carving combining both engraving and painting requires intricate and versatile carving techniques. The artists should have a delicate mastery of the force applied during engraving and pay attention to the way they hold the egg.
