The 19th China International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) kicked off at Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center on June 7th, where various cultural and tourism units and enterprises in Guangzhou rushed to showcase their outstanding projects and works to global merchants.
Themed "Riding the Wind to Reinvigorate Culture", the Guangzhou Pavilion was designed closely around the theme, featuring a paper windmill framework with booths in flowing-water style to demonstrate its overseas industrial momentum.
In recent years, Guangzhou has constantly stimulated the innovative vitality of intangible cultural heritage and traditional culture through its enhancing inheritance and protection of its historical and cultural heritage and in-depth improvement of the organic integration of traditional culture with creative design, digital technology and fashionable elements. For example, the original Jianshui purple pottery , represented by the exhibitor Future Museum of Inspiration , is designed according to the characteristics of Yunan tea, striving to break through the design bottleneck of current Chinese ceramic wares. There is also Xiangyunsha silk co-developed with the national intangible cultural heritage "mawei" embroidery drawing nourishment from the source of cultural history so as to embody the national sentiment of "Chinese design and Oriental aesthetics."
In addition, Guangzhou, where market entity cultivation is under further promotion and enterprises in animation, games, and cultural equipment are supported to go global, is striving to make Chinese culture a world trend and attract more global lovers of Chinese culture by developing Chinese original IP and telling Chinese stories well. Take the following typical examples. Comicfans Culture , one of the leading animation companies in China, has produced more than 300 overseas works such as "If History Were a Group of Cats " and "Easy Learning Ancient Prose from Comic History Line . The exquisite hand-painted guangcai porcelain "Lingnan Jiaguo" by Guangzhou Guanghui Cultural Communication Co., Ltd depicts vivid lychee paintings on a 20-inch round plate. And NetEase 's online game "Yongjie Wujian" collaborates with the Jinsha Site Museum in Chengdu City to deeply excavate, recreate, and disseminate historical culture. In short, numerous exhibited projects and products of enterprises vividly demonstrate the new inheritance vitality of Guangzhou's intangible cultural heritage.
Guangzhou continues to cultivate and develop internationally competitive enterprises for digital culture and technology by empowering cultural tourism with digital technology and integrating innovative industries, which led to its successful launch of a group of cultural enterprises overseas and a quicker pace to go global. Statistics show that there were 3,220 legal entities for cultural and related industries in the city in 2022 with a year-on-year increase of 146, realizing a total business income of 481.579 billion yuan. Relying on the national cultural export bases, Guangzhou supported its culture and tourism enterprises to go global, gaining a total export value of 34.37 billion yuan concerning cultural products in 2022. All these indicate that Guangzhou's cultural industry is rapidly moving towards the global market.
非遗、国潮、数字文化……广州文旅组团绽放文博会 | 聚焦文博会
6月7日,第十九届文博会在深圳国际会展中心开幕。广州各文旅单位、企业组团竞相绽放,以优秀项目与作品迎接全球客商。
“乘风出海、文化振兴”是本年度广州馆的展示主题。展馆设计紧扣主题,以折纸风车形态为框架、内涵流水造型展台,彰显乘风出海的产业势能。

此外,广州深入推进实施市场主体培育行动,支持以动漫、游戏、文化装备为重点的企业出海,做好中国原创IP开发,讲好中国故事,让中国文化成为世界潮流,让全球用户爱上中国文化。中国动漫龙头企业之一漫友文化出品的《如果历史是一群喵》《漫画历史线 轻松读古文》等300多个作品输出海外多国;广辉文化广彩手绘名瓷《岭南佳果》,在20寸圆盘上刻画的荔枝果实栩栩如生;网易游戏旗下网游《永劫无间》联动金沙遗址博物馆,深入挖掘再创、传播历史文化……现场展出的众多企业项目与成果,生动呈现着广州非遗传承新活力。
广州不断培育发展具有国际竞争力的数字文化科技企业,以数字科技赋能文旅,融合发展创新业态,成功推出一批文化出海“领头雁”,加快步伐走出去。乘风出海的广州文化产业加速走向全球。统计显示,2022年全市规模以上文化及相关产业法人单位有3220家,同比增加146家;实现营业收入4815.79亿元。依托国家文化出口基地,助力文旅企业出海,2022年广州文化产品出口总额达343.7亿元人民币。
