On June 1st, the Yuexiu Dragon Boats Race on Land kicked off in Guangzhou Workers Cultural Palace, attracting teams from about 10 schools from Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City.
As an important custom of the Dragon Boat Festival, dragon boat races are both interesting and worth appreciating, which are always popular among the public. This dragon boat race on land is even more unique and attractive, inspiring the enthusiasm of the young players.
Unlike traditional dragon boats on water, the "oars" of dragon boats on land are actually poles, and there are wheels under the boats. The member who beats the drums should step on the control board with two feet to control the boat's direction.
Many of the people watching the race on both sides of the track came with their families. They not only cheered for the young players but also learned and experienced the traditional customs during the race. The race was full of endless joy.

6月1日，广州越秀工人文化宫内开展精彩纷呈的潮玩陆地龙舟赛，吸引了来自越秀区数十支不同学校的队伍参与。
作为端午节的重要习俗，赛龙舟集观赏性和趣味性于一体，备受广大市民的喜爱。本次活动启动的潮玩陆地龙舟赛别开生面，激发了小选手们的热情。
与水上龙舟不同，陆地龙舟的“船桨”其实是撑杆，而龙舟底盘是轮子，擂鼓的队员，则用双脚踩踏控制板，掌控方向。
在赛道两边围观的观众，很多都是一家老少一起来感受的，他们既为小选手们加油呐喊，又在助威声中了解感受传统风俗习俗，欢乐无限。
