On May 27, a large-scale recruitment fair aiming to "stabilize employment rate to boost development" was held in Qingyuan, a city in northern Guangdong. With the manufacturing industry as the focus, the recruitment event has taken advantage of the strategic cluster of the light and textile industry in Qingyuan, providing job seekers with high-quality jobs in new materials, equipment manufacturing, light industry goods, textile and clothing, biomedicine, modern tourism and other areas, among which the highest annual salary reached 230,000 RMB.
Specialized areas to facilitate supply-demand docking
Specialized areas were set up in the main venue of the job fair including "Manufacturing Industry", "Nanyue Housecraft" and new employment forms, to provide diversified job opportunities for job seekers in different majors with different needs. For the recruiters at the fair, it was also a good opportunity to communicate with people with excellent talent and better understand the demand and talent pool of the market.
According to a person in charge of the recruitment event, with the consideration of Qingyuan's need to orderly receiving the textile and clothing industry from Guangzhou, they have fully displayed the characteristics and industrial advantages of Qingyuan and interpreted the "Eight Rules for Qingyuan Textile and Clothing Industry" and related policies at the event, to attract more workers for the enterprises in the industrial park.
"To further facilitate the transfer of industries and meet the employment demand of the enterprises, we will carry out a non-profit textile skills training for working-age people willing to engage in the textile and clothing industry, hoping to cultivate 10,000 sewing workers at the end of this year."
An innovative and diversified way for recruitment
The recruitment event was held both online and offline, in various forms such as "policies presentation + direct appointment by the boss", "online enterprises visiting + live jobs promotion" and "policy teach-in +job-seeker empowerment" to facilitate the efficient docking of the supply and demand of talents.
It is also worth noting that the event was held in the Qingyuan Sports Center Stadium, in which the Guangdong Provincial Games was hosted, with the Guangdong Vocational Education City standing by side, which covers about 120,000 teachers and students from 10 colleges. Students from these colleges have participated in the event actively as valuable human resources for the industries.
It is reported that nearly 300 enterprises have enrolled in the recruitment event, bringing with them 6,778 jobs, among which 218 enterprises with 5,580 jobs have shown up offline. On that day, 5,760 people were at the event, and 1,353 of them got their job offers.

据相关负责人介绍,这次招聘活动结合清远市承接广州市纺织服装产业有序转移工作需要,全方位展示清远特色风貌以及产业优势,现场解读“清远纺织服装产业八条”相关政策,帮助入驻园区企业招工留人。
“为进一步服务承接产业转移,保障入驻园区企业用工需求,接下来,将大力开展公益性纺织技能培训,精准组织有意愿从事纺织服装行业的适龄劳动力参加,年底前培养储备10000名缝纫工人。”
创新多样化招聘形式
本次招聘会活动通过线上线下同步开展,有“政策推送+总裁直聘”“云访企业+直播带岗”“政策宣讲+职场赋能”等多种形式,促进供需双方的高效对接。
值得关注的是,本次活动安排在刚承办省运会的清远体育中心举办,旁边是广东省职教城,直接辐射10所高校约12万名师生。省职教城各院校学生积极参与本次招聘活动,为产业发展提供宝贵人才资源。
据悉,此次招聘会共吸引了近300家企业报名参加,提供6778个岗位;其中218家企业参加线下招聘,提供岗位5580个。活动当天5760人入场,达成就业意向1353人。
