It is reported that the third conference of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum of the Boao Forum for Asia will be held in Zhuhai from September 19th to 20th. Themed "Innovation Drives Green Development, Technology Enables Better Life", the conference held a plenary session and set up multiple sub-forums discussing topics like artificial intelligence, green and low-carbon development, the future of manufacturing, modernization of traditional Chinese medicine, biomedical technology, etc. At the same time, the conference will also host the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum & Expo of Boao Forum for Asia.

5月24日，博鳌亚洲论坛在珠海发布《博鳌亚洲论坛创新报告2022》。该报告指出，中国依托其强大的科技创新能力与生产力，已成为全球产业变革的主要策源地。

本次发布的《博鳌亚洲论坛创新报告2022》指出，全球科技创新中心将成为国家或地区推动本土产业发展、科技创新策源地的重要载体与核心力量，建设全球科技创新中心是城市科技功能国际化并形成全球影响力的主要路径，中国依托其强大的科技创新能力与生产力，已然成为全球产业变革的主要策源地。

博鳌亚洲论坛秘书长李保东总结了全球科技创新发展趋势，第一是亚洲日益成为世界科技创新最有活力的增长极；第二是科技创新中心呈现北美、欧洲、亚太三足鼎立新格局，中国跻身科创第一梯队；第三是各国不断完善和优化法律政策环境，争夺科技创新主导权；第四是发展中经济体科技竞争能力增强，中国是引领科技创新的火车头；第五是面对前所未有的科技竞争环境恶化的挑战，中国倡导的无国界、无障碍、无歧视的科技合作是大势所趋。

博鳌亚洲论坛秘书长政策顾问扎法尔说：“今天的中国正在成为创新型经济体，这将是推动中国经济增长的重要引擎，同时也为亚洲与全球注入增长动力。”

据悉，博鳌亚洲论坛国际科技与创新论坛第三届大会将于9月19日至20日在珠海举办。大会以“创新引领绿色发展，科技赋能美好生活”为主题，召开一场全体大会，并设置多个分论坛，涉及“人工智能、绿色低碳发展、制造业未来、中医药现代化、生物医药科技、分子设计、数字建筑、太空探索、移动通信”等多个领域。大会同期还将举办博鳌亚洲论坛亚洲科技与创新交流博览会。
