Under the theme of“From Agreement to Action: Build Back Biodiversity”, the 23rd International Day for Biological Diversity was observed on May 22.In recent years, Dongguan City has gone all out to protect forests, wetlands, and wildlife and made the forest an important ecological barrier, contributing to the increase in the population of diverse species.The city has monitored 32 species of national key terrestrial wildlife. Among them, five are the national-level first-class and 27 are state-level second-class protected animals. Dongguan has also monitored 329 bird species. The birds include first-class protected Platalea leucorodia, Ciconia boyciana, Plegadis falcinellus, second-class protected Paramesotriton hongkongensis,Silver Pheasant (the Guangdong provincial bird), leopard cats and Coelognathus radiatus, and the endangered Yellow-breasted Bunting.#LingnanAnimal
2023年5月22日是第23个国际生物多样性日,今年的主题为“ 从协议到协力:复元生物多样性 ”。近年来,东莞市着力建立完善森林、湿地、野生动植物保护网络,构建森林生态安全屏障和生物多样性宝库。目前,全市监测和民间拍摄的重点陆生野生保护动物达到32种,其中国家一级保护动物5种,国家二级保护动物27种。民间观察记录到的鸟类种类数量达329种。其中就包括国家一级重点保护野生动物黑脸琵鹭、东方白鹳、彩鹮,国家二级保护动物香港瘰螈、白鹇(广东省省鸟)、豹猫和三索锦蛇,以及濒危鸟类禾花雀。
