#TheGreatBeautyofLingnan Located in Fogang County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, Shangyue Ancient Village enjoys a profound history of more than 720 years. It is one of the biggest and best-preserved traditional folk residences. The most distinctive feature of the village is the Guo Er Building. Architectures of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, lanes paved with granite, and ancient walls tiled with bricks come as a refreshing and picturesque surprise. In ancient times, the Guo Er Building was designed to bless their children and grandchildren with “wealth, good fortune, abundant food and clothing”.

清一色的“锅耳楼”，充满独特的艺术气息

上岳古村，位于广东省清远市佛冈县，始建于南宋，盛于明清，距今已超过七百二十年的历史，是粤北地区保存最完整、规模最大的传统民居建筑群之一。村中最别具特色的就是“锅耳楼”。进入村内，明清时期的建筑风格让人耳目一新，踏上麻石铺就的小巷，抚摸着道路两旁的青砖，一下子仿佛进入了画中，与过去的历史来了一次不简单的交谈。古时的人们建此楼来保佑家中子孙金榜题名，也借此祈祷“富贵吉祥，丰衣足食”。
