To promote high-quality and sufficient employment for workers, Guangdong Province, in collaboration with the cities of Zhongshan, Shantou, Zhanjiang, and Qingyuan, is hosting a large-scale recruitment event called "Stabilize Employment to Promote Development" in four regional divisions. According to reports, the job fair has attracted over 1,000 companies, offering a total of 17,000 positions. Additionally, between January and April 2023, the province witnessed a cumulative increase of 416,200 urban jobs.
First job fair introduces "Mom-friendly positions" section
The first job fair is scheduled to take place in Zhongshan on May 20th, with over 400 companies offering 5,000 positions. The on-site recruitment event in Zhanjiang has received registrations from more than 4,000 individuals.
It is reported that each region has selected high-quality positions from industries such as equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, marine fisheries, clean energy, and ecological agriculture, based on their respective regional resources and industrial structure characteristics. The average monthly salary for these positions exceeds 6,000 yuan.
Meanwhile, different cities have also established distinctive recruitment zones based on their own development strategies. For example, Zhongshan has created a special "Mom-Friendly Positions" section to facilitate the employment of women which takes their childcare and work needs into account.
Cumulative increase of 416,200 urban jobs in Guangdong
Between January and April, a cumulative total of 416,200 urban jobs were created in the province, marking a 3.5% year-on-year increase. The overall number of migrant workers employed remained stable at around 42 million.
As a major economic and labor-intensive province, Guangdong is focusing on the employment of key groups such as college graduates. Efforts are being made to enhance their competence, expand employment channels, strengthen employment services, and secure employment opportunities. A total of 346,000 government-related positions have been offered, including positions in government agencies, state-owned enterprises, grassroots projects, and enlistment after further studies. Inaddition, nearly 10,000 public welfare positions areavailable to secure employment opportunities.
A vocational training program is considered a fundamental measure to alleviate structural employment challenges. The province is intensifying efforts to build 63 "industry-education-evaluation" integrated vocational training chains. Furthermore, 105 gig economy platforms have been established throughout the province, offering "instant recruitment" services that operate round-the-clock.
Policy of "One gig economy platform in every county"
Guangdong Province is set to implement a series of employment initiatives, including the "Hundred Days, Million Jobs" recruitment campaign, public employment services in schools, the "Job Hunting in Guangdong" program, and the program of assisting key enterprises with employment service officers.
The Human Resources and Social Security Departmentof Guangdong Province is also promoting innovative models such as the "Employment Service Stations". They are establishing a "Guangdong Employment Map" to dynamically collect and showcase job information and distribution, enabling one-click navigation and online application submission. Furthermore, efforts will be made to construct gig economy platforms by establishing one gig economy platform in every county.
These initiatives aim to further enhance the employment landscape in Guangdong and provide comprehensive support to job seekers. By leveraging innovative strategies and technology, the province is striving to create a more accessible and efficient employment ecosystem for its residents.
广东将连办4场分片区招聘会 提供岗位1.7万个
为促进劳动者高质量充分就业,广东省联合中山、汕头、湛江、清远四市共同主办“稳就业促发展”分片区大型招聘活动。据介绍,目前招聘会已吸引1000多家企业报名参与,提供岗位1.7万个。记者同时获悉,2023年1月至4月全省城镇新增就业累计41.62万人。
首场招聘活动设置“妈妈岗”专区
首场招聘活动将于5月20日在中山市举办,计划组织400家以上企业提供5000个岗位。湛江市现场招聘活动已吸引4000余人报名。
据介绍,各地立足区域资源禀赋和产业结构特点,精选装备制造、生物医药、海洋渔业、清洁能源、生态农业等行业企业中的优质岗位,月薪普遍超过6000元。
与此同时,不同地市还根据自身发展,设立了特色招聘区域。例如,中山市为方便妇女就业,特设“妈妈岗”招聘专区,兼顾满足妇女育儿和工作需要。
全省城镇新增就业累计41.62万人
据悉,1-4月全省城镇新增就业累计41.62万人,同比上升3.5%,农民工就业总量稳定在4200万左右。
作为全国经济大省和用工大省,广东聚焦高校毕业生等重点群体就业,拓宽就业渠道、提升就业能力、强化就业服务、兜牢就业底线。统筹开发机关事业单位、国有企业、基层项目、升学入伍等政策性岗位34.6万个。开发兜底类公益性岗位近万个。
与此同时,将职业技能培训作为缓解就业结构性矛盾的根本之策,加紧打造63条“产教评”融合技能生态链。全省建成零工市场105个,提供全天候、不打烊的“即时快招”服务。
打造“一县一零工市场”
广东还将接续组织百日千万招聘专项行动、公共就业服务进校园、“揾工在广东”、“千名就业服务专员助万家重点企业”等活动。
广东省人社厅还将推广“就业驿站”等创新模式;探索建设“广东就业地图”,动态收集展示岗位信息和分布,实现一键导航和掌上应聘;加强零工市场建设,打造“一县一零工市场”。
