Zhu Lifang, a teacher at the Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, has gained nearly 750,000 fans with videos exceeding one million plays. She who grew from a small-town girl to a doctor at the Renmin University of China and from a college teacher to a netizen blogger has opened her account online for more than one year. 

An agony sister on the Internet

As a recent idea that schooling is useless proliferating on the Internet, Zhu Lifang has appealed through her videos not to trap oneself in negative emotions by social issues, and not to deny the meaning of studying and the value of education.

Her cozy approach to the topic has kept it on the top of the platform's search list for nearly eight hours. By far, the video has received nearly 13 million views and 300,000 likes.

Zhu's mission and motivation for the video is to shine a light on young passers-by.

At the beginning of 2022, Zhu Lifang, who had been studying journalism and communication since the beginning of her undergraduate studies, shot her first short video, "Being prankish in the office", which received more than 3 million views in just a few days, thus bringing her growth path as a self-publisher.

"Aren't all doctors utterly unpredictable? This one is so different!" "This university teacher is so prankish."… Rave reviews spark. Operating online for more than a year, Zhu Lifang has released more than two hundred videos with an update frequency comparable to that of a full-time blogger, gradually gaining popularity among netizens.

What turned the netizens into Zhu's fans is her rational attitude and sincere sharing on topics such as reading, learning, school life and women's growth. It starts with Zhu's beautiful appearance but falls into talent.

A hardworking girl from a small town who dares to fight and venture out

"If I went back 10 years, I would say thanks to myself for studying so hard at that time."

Zhu Lifang was born in a small town in Henan Province. Although her family was not rich, they paid a lot of attention to education and supported her all the way to Henan University, and then she there was recommended for postgraduate study.

On the first day of her studies, she made up her mind to take the Ph.D. exam at the Renmin University of China, a college that ranks first in journalism and communication education.

After ten months of day-and-night efforts with nearly five pounds of weight loss, Zhu Lifang was admitted to the university with the top score in her major and went on to a broader world.

The books she read and the knowledge she learned along the way have made her who she is today. Zhu sincerely hopes to share her story of a surprise hit with more people.

Full of inspiration in schooling, her educational videos have received over 27 million views.

A professional guide in students' eyes

In 2018, Zhu Lifang, who graduated with a Ph.D., became a teacher at the Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, now the deputy head of the College of Humanities and Communication.

"I didn't consider 10 years ago that my life would be like this now. The small goals I once had have all come true."

Today, she brings her rich experience in We-media operation back into the classroom. She shares technical details of video creation with students through personal experiences and online examples.

Zhu also encourages students to be creative. She leads them through hands-on analysis of pop-up topics and revising student copy, allowing them to choose the content of their accounts based on their interests. With her encouragement and help, many students have produced outstanding works and even succeeded in making themselves known outside of the fixed circle.

On the eve of China's Youth Day on May 4th this year, Zhu Lifang wrote to herself:

"Be grateful to me who broke down many times but did not give up. What matters to youth is not the time, but the state of mind. Nothing but thirty, please remember to keep moving on and loving."

从小镇女孩到人大博士，从高校教师到网红博主，开号一年多来， “青椒姐姐”——广东财经大学教师朱立芳收获粉丝近75万，多条视频突破百万播放量。

网络上的“知心大姐姐”

“读书无用论”近年在网络泛滥，朱立芳通过视频呼吁，不要将自己困在社会议题带来的负面情绪中，不要因此否定读书的意义和学历的价值。

她如同“知心姐姐”般的娓娓道来，使相关话题在平台热搜榜上“挂”了近8个小时。目前该视频获近1300万浏览量，点赞数近30万。

为年轻的“过路人”点亮明灯，也成为了她做视频的使命与动力。

2022年初，从本科开始一直学习新闻传播相关专业的她，拍摄了第一条短视频《办公室里皮一下》，短短几天播放量就超过300万，朱立芳由此踏上了“自媒体小白”的成长之路。

“博士不都是高深莫测的吗？画风不一样哦”“这个大学老师好调皮”……运营一年多来，她发布两百多个作品，更新频率与全职博主有得一拼，也逐渐受到网友们的喜爱。

“始于颜值，敬于才华”，真正让网友“路转粉”的是她对阅读学习、校园生活、女性成长等话题的理性态度与真诚分享。

敢拼敢闯的“小镇做题家”

“如果回到10年前，我会对当时努力学习的自己说声谢谢。”

朱立芳出生在河南省一个小镇上，家庭虽不富裕，却很注重教育，支持她一路奋楫，考上河南大学，后又保送本校读研。

读研首日，她就下定决心要考博，而且“锁定”了新闻传播学专业排名第一的中国人民大学。

早出晚归奋战了十个月，瘦了近十斤，朱立芳以专业课第一的成绩如愿考入人大新闻学院，走向了更为广阔的天地。

一路上读过的书、学过的知识成就了如今的她，她也由衷地希望将“逆袭”的故事分享给更多人。

她拍摄的“教育”主题视频合集充满教育启示意义，总播放量已超2700万。

学生眼中的“专业引路人”

2018年，博士毕业的朱立芳成为了广财一名教师，目前任人文与传播学院网络传播系副主任。

“10年前没有想过我的人生会是现在这样，曾经的小目标如今都实现了。”

如今，她把丰富的自媒体运营经验“反哺”课堂。通过个人经历、网络案例等向学生分享视频创作技术细节。

朱立芳还鼓励学生积极创作，“手把手”带领同学们分析“爆款”选题和修改学生文案，让大家根据兴趣选定账号运营内容。在她的激励和帮助下，不少同学做出亮眼作品，甚至成功“出圈”。

今年五四青年节前夕，朱立芳给自己写道：

“感谢那个很多次崩溃却没有放弃的自己，青春无关岁月，青春在于心境。一直‘折腾’，保持热爱，三十而已。”
