Titled“Decorative Patterns in History”, an exhibition of the Patterns on Relics Unearthed from the Archaeological Site of Nanyue Kingdom Palace was held at the Nanyue King Museum on April 26.
This exhibition is one of the series of archaeological results of the Nanyue Palace site. For the first time, it showcases the representative ornamental decorations of the artifacts unearthed from the Nanyue Palace site, and the historical evolution of their styles. More than 200 pieces of relics were put on display at the first-of-its-kind exhibition, showing the distinct style and exquisite decorative methods of Lingnan’s patterns during different periods throughout history. The exhibits showcase the unique lifestyle, customs, and aesthetics in Lingnan.
4月26日,《年华·花样——南越国宫署遗址出土文物纹饰专题展》在南越王博物院(王宫展区)展出。
本次展览是南越国宫署遗址考古资料整理成果系列展览之一,首次集中展示了南越国宫署遗址出土器物代表性纹饰及其演变的历史脉络。展览展出文物200多件(套),展示了不同时期岭南纹饰的形式风格和装饰手法,揭示了岭南社会独特的生活习俗和审美情愫。
