According to China Customs, in the first quarter of this year, the exports reached 5.65 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.4% year-on-year. In March, the growth rate increased to 15.5%, showing a month-on-month improvement.
As March and April are key periods for cross-border merchants to obtain overseas orders, businesses are busy stocking up. Mei Chengren, the person in charge of a toy company in Suzhou, deeply understands this: "In the past two years, we have been clearing inventory. This year's foreign trade momentum is very good, and our sales on AliExpress and other platforms rose by 30% in March compared to February. Fortunately, we have already stocked up in Cainiao's overseas warehouses in Spain and the United States. By shipping from overseas warehouses, European customers can receive their orders in as little as 2 days."
Foreign trade enterprises are full of confidence.
In March, Cainiao, a logistics company in China, saw a 146% year-on-year growth in inventory volume in its overseas warehouses in Spain and France, equivalent to 64 more containers, and a 454% year-on-year increase in goods out of warehouses, equivalent to 51 more containers.
"Overseas warehouses are an important focus for stabilizing foreign trade. Currently, Cainiao has built and operated more than 800,000 square meters of overseas warehouses in 14 countries and regions around the world. The daily processing volume of the Cainiao overseas warehouses in Spain and France alone can reach 50,000 orders, covering the entire EU," said the head of Cainiao's overseas warehouse, adding that Cainiao has more than 15 overseas warehouses in Europe, and European consumers can receive goods stocked in overseas warehouses within 2 days, with some cities even enjoying same-day or next-day delivery. Cainiao has begun to build its own end-to-end distribution network in Spain, which currently covers most of the mainland areas of the country.
中国货物贸易出口同比增速15.5%,有企业欧洲海外仓货物入库体积增长146%
据海关总署统计,今年一季度,我国货物贸易出口总值5.65万亿元,同比增长8.4%。其中,3月同比增速提升到15.5%,呈现逐月向好态势。
3、4月作为外贸旺季,是企业获取海外订单的关键时期,跨境商家备货忙。对此,苏州某玩具商家相关负责人梅成仁深有体会:“过去两年我们都憋着一口气,一直在清库存。今年开局的外贸势头非常好,3月份我们在速卖通(AliExpress)和其他平台的销量比2月足足增加了3成,幸好我们已经提前在西班牙和美国的菜鸟海外仓备货,通过海外仓发货,我们在欧洲的客户最快2天就能收到。”
外贸企业信心十足。
今年3月,中国物流品牌“菜鸟”在西班牙及法国的海外仓货物入库体积同比增长146%,相当于新增64个集装箱;货物出库体积同比增长454%,相当于新增51个集装箱。
“海外仓是稳外贸的重要着力点,目前菜鸟已经在全球14个国家和地区建设和运营超过80万平方米的海外仓。仅西班牙和法国两地的菜鸟海外仓日均处理单量可达5万订单,覆盖欧盟全境。”菜鸟海外仓负责人介绍,菜鸟在欧洲设有超过15座海外仓,欧洲消费者最快2天可以收到商家备货在海外仓的商品,部分城市甚至能实现当日达或者次日达。菜鸟还在西班牙开始建设自营的末端配送网络,目前,这张网络已经覆盖了西班牙大陆的大部分地区。
