On April 24th, the "Greater Bay Area Standards" unveiling ceremony was held in Shenzhen, China.
During the event, Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation, Hong Kong Trade and Industry Department, and Macao’s Economic and Technological Development Bureaujointly announced 110 "Greater Bay Area Standards" in 25 different fields, including food, Cantonese cuisine, traditional Chinese medicine, transportation, elderly care, logistics, and more.
Apart from signing the"Memorandum of Cooperation on Promoting the Development of Standards in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area", theconference also launcheda Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Standard Information Public Service Platform and the related GBA standards logo.
These standards were developed in response to the shared needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with input from research institutions, social organizations, and businesses with strong technical capabilities and influence in the region. One of the defining characteristics of the standards is their adherence to scientific principles and applicability.
The "Greater Bay Area Standards" are also notable for being a product of collaboration among the various stakeholders in the region. Over 58 of the 110 standards were led or jointly led by relevant departments in Hong Kong and Macao.
Furthermore, these standards represent the highest level of technical expertise, with a rigorous technical management process that involved four national-level standardization research institutions, such as the China Institute of Standardization, and the National Center of Standards Evaluation, and experts from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
The signing of the "Memorandum of Cooperation on Promoting the Development of Standards in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" aims to promote the implementation of the "Guidelines for Promoting the Development of Standards in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Trial)", improve the area's standardization support capabilities, create a standardization brand, and expand the influence of the Greater Bay Area Standards, ultimately supporting the cooperationand high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
粤港澳三地共同公布110项“湾区标准”
4月24日,“湾区标准”公布仪式在深圳举行。
会上,粤港澳三地共同公布110项“湾区标准”,广东省市场监督管理局、香港特别行政区工业贸易署、澳门特别行政区经济及科技发展局三方共同签署了《关于共同促进粤港澳大湾区标准发展的合作备忘录》。粤港澳大湾区标准信息公共服务平台以及“湾区标准”标识(logo)也同步上线。
本次公布的“湾区标准”涵盖食品、粤菜、中医药、交通、养老、物流等25个领域,共110项标准,主要有三方面特点:
首先是紧贴湾区发展所需。每一项标准都源于湾区共同发展需求,由粤港澳三地技术实力较强、影响力较大的社会团体、科研院所和企业共同研制,具有科学性和适用性。
其次是汇聚粤港澳各方智慧。港澳各方积极参与“湾区标准”编制,“湾区标准”清单中58项标准是由港澳相关单位牵头或共同牵头编制的。
三是体现一流技术水平。“湾区标准”是高质量标准的典范,纳入“湾区标准”的技术管理程序严谨,“湾区标准”形成过程中,邀请了中国标准化研究院、国家标准技术审评中心等4家国家级标准化研究机构,联同粤港澳权威专家,经过严格的技术审查形成。
同时,本次签署的《关于共同促进粤港澳大湾区标准发展的合作备忘录》主要围绕推动《促进粤港澳大湾区标准发展指南(试行)》实施,提升大湾区标准化支撑能力,打造标准品牌,扩大湾区标准的影响力等,促进粤港澳三地互联互通和融合发展,助力粤港澳大湾区高质量发展。
