On April 18th, the 133rd China Import and Export Fair (also known as the Canton Fair) entered its fourth day. Inside exhibition halls, people were moving around quickly and walking straightly towards the booths they were interested in. The atmosphere of buying and selling was becoming increasingly intense. Buyers from all over the world found their desired products here, with many orders exceeding a million dollars.
"Made in Guangdong" secures million-dollar orders
Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group showcased over 170 products this year. According to its sales representatives, the group's booth received over 1,200 visitors every day, with a total of more than 3,500 visitors in the first three days, of which 40% were overseas customers.
Lin Xueqiang, Chairman of Guangzhou Chemicals Import and Export Company, revealed that they had deep discussions with about 350 customers since the start of the fair. Currently, their intended orders have reached 1.35 million dollars, mainly from countries and regions in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Wu Yan, Overseas Sales Director of Tiger Head Battery in Guangzhou, told reporters that four days after the event commenced, their negotiation notebook has been filled with client information. In addition to existing customers from Hong Kong, India, Dubai and other places, they also attracted new customers from Italy, Brazil, Southeast Asian countries, and other regions, with the intention order amount already reaching millions of dollars.
Surprises brought by "Intelligent Manufacturing" at Canton Fair
Several intelligent robots produced by Doni Robot walk back and forth at the main entrance of the Intelligent Life Pavilion at Canton Fair, attracting many visitors to stop and take photos. According to Du Yuanyuan, the chairman of the company, "During these few days, customers from countries and regions such as Korea, Argentina, and the United Arab Emirates have signed agency agreements. Many visitors have also made appointments on-site, planning to visit our factory in Dongguan after the exhibition to have further negotiations. Canton Fair has indeed brought us many surprises."
Guangzhou Zhuoyuan Virtual Reality Technology Company's booth is also packed with visitors, with foreign buyers lining up to try their VR products. According to Du Jiawei, the person in charge of the company's foreign trade, many visitors who experienced their products left their contact information. In addition, a client from Uzbekistan surprised them by visiting their factory on April 17th without any prior notice, hoping to achieve further project cooperation.
Promote "Made in China"
At noon, the booth of WeRide at the first-ever new energy and intelligent networked automobile exhibition area of Canton Fair is still crowded. It is reported that WeRide brought the world's first mass-produced unmanned driving minibus to the booth. Chen Jiaqi, the public relations officer of the company, said, "It is really popular. Many customers are asking if this product can be driven to Southeast Asia, Europe, and other places, hoping to promote the unmanned driving minibus to their own countries."
Many Chinese exhibitors hope to obtain more "global orders" through Canton Fair and provide their products and services to more countries. They are also committed to making their brands go abroad, demonstrating high-quality "Made in China" products.
Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group has set KPI for the event. "In the largest Canton Fair in history, our goal is to obtain a large order (1.5 million dollars), 20 small and medium orders (100,000 to 1.2 million dollars), have 50 more intended customers and 80 more potential customers, and help the 'Made in Guangzhou' and 'Made in China' brands shine brighter," the person in charge of the company stated.
多家粤企在广交会签下百万美元订单

“广东制造”签下百万美元订单
广州工业投资控股集团有限公司此次有超170件产品参展。据其业务员统计,开展以来,旗下展位每日的平均流量超1200人,三天累计超过3500人,其中40%为海外客户。
广州化工进出口有限公司董事长林学强透露,开展以来他们大概与350位客商进行了深度洽谈,目前意向订单达到135万美金,主要来自东南亚、非洲、拉美等国家和地区。
广州市虎头电池集团股份有限公司海外销售总监吴艳告诉记者,开展四天以来,虎头电池的洽谈本上已经签得满满当当,除了来自中国香港、印度、迪拜等地的老客户外,还有来自意大利、巴西、东南亚等地的新客户,目前已签约意向订单金额几百万美金。
广交会为“硬核智造”带来惊喜
在广交会智能生活馆的正门处,广东杜尼智能机器人工程技术研究中心有限公司的几台智能机器人来回走动,吸引众多客商驻足打卡。该公司董事长杜元源介绍,“这几天,韩国、阿根廷、阿联酋等国家和地区的客户都敲定了签约代理,还有很多客商现场预约了我们的档期,打算展会结束后亲自到东莞的工厂继续考察洽谈,广交会确实给我们带来了很多惊喜。”
客流“爆棚”的还有广州卓远虚拟现实科技有限公司的展位,外国采购商正排队体验VR产品。卓远VR外贸活动负责人杜嘉威表示,不少体验过的客商都留下了联系方式,还有客商给了他们惊喜——4月17日,来自乌兹别克斯坦的客户没有任何通知,直接前往卓远VR的工厂参观设备,希望达成进一步的项目合作。
助力擦亮“中国制造”金字招牌
正午时分,在本届广交会首设的新能源及智能网联汽车展区,文远知行的展位人气不减。据悉,文远知行这次带来了全球首个前装量产无人驾驶小巴。文远知行公关陈嘉琦表示:“真的很火爆,还有很多客户来问这款产品能不能开到东南亚、欧洲等地,希望把无人驾驶小巴推广到自己的国家。”
不少中国参展企业都希望通过这一次广交会,拿到更多“全球订单”,为更多国家提供自己的产品和服务,也致力于让自己的品牌走出国门,展示高质量的中国制造。
广州工控也为自己定下了KPI。“在本次史上规模最大的广交会中,我们的预期目标是成功获取大订单(150万美金),20笔中小订单(10-120万),增加50位意向客户、80位潜在客户,助力‘广州制造’‘中国制造’金字招牌越擦越亮。”广州工控有关负责人介绍。
