On March 30, Guangzhou Customs issued Measures for Supporting the 133rd Canton Fair and Customs Clearance Instructions for the 133rd Canton Fair at a press conference. The measures will improve the customs clearance procedures for inbound and outbound personnel and materials related to the Canton Fair.
Exhibitors can log on to China (Guangzhou) International Trade Single Window for declaration. The platform offers 24-hour online services for exhibition filings, confirmation, exhibit clearance, in-show supervision, post-show cancellation, and hire purchase. By adopting the information system and optimizing the customs clearance process, the department has reduced required files from over 40 items to a minimum of 2 items, and the overall customs clearance time for exhibits is reduced to one-third of that for ordinary goods. As for imported animals and plants and related products, the approval procedure has been reduced from 20 working days to 3 working days.
In addition, the newly completed exhibition hall D will be put into use this year, with the exhibition area expanded from 1.18 million square meters to 1.5 million square meters. The physical event welcomes over 30,000 exhibitors, breaking the record of the Canton Fair. The import session attracts more than 500 enterprises from nearly 40 countries and regions, and all commodity categories are open to foreign enterprises.
Up to now, 7 batches of exhibits have arrived in Guangzhou by sea or air. According to the enterprises' record in the customs, imported exhibits will attend all three phases of the 133rd Canton Fair, and the products involve home appliances, machines, and hardware tools.
"In the near future, exhibits such as hardware tools, tableware, and small home appliances from countries like India, Japan, and Turkey will arrive at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Nansha Port, and other ports of entry. To ensure smooth customs clearance of inbound exhibits of the Canton Fair, the Customs has taken the initiative to contact with the organizers and logistics enterprises, so as to get the latest information on inbound exhibits and make targeted plans for supervising exhibits," said Deng Qiang, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Convention and Exhibition Center Customs of Guangzhou Customs.

全天候在线办理！广州海关出台15项便利措施服务保障第133届广交会
3月30日，广州海关举行新闻发布会，发布《广州海关支持2023年第133届中国进出口商品交易会便利措施》和《2023年第133届中国进出口商品交易会广州海关通关须知》，做好对第133届广交会参会进出境人员、物资的通关服务保障。
据介绍，参展进出口企业可登录国际贸易“单一窗口”进行申报，全天候在线办理展会备案、确认、展品通关、展中监管、展后核销和留购等事项。通过使用信息化系统和优化通关流程，办展企业递交资料由最多40多项减至最少2项，暂时进出口展品整体通关时长缩减至普通货物的三分之一。进境动植物及其产品、动植物源性食品检疫审批事项审批时间由20个工作日缩短至3个工作日。
此外，本届广交会首次启用新落成的展馆D区，展览面积由以往的118万平方米扩大到150万平方米，线下参展企业超过3万家，展会规模再创新高。其中，近40个国家和地区，500余家企业将参加此次展会的进口展，所有商品类别全部面向境外企业开放。
据统计，截至目前，已有7批次展品陆续从广州滘心码头、广州白云机场等口岸以海运、空运方式入境，为本届广交会前期布展打好头阵。从企业在海关的备案情况看，第133届广交会一、二、三期均有进口展品入境，涉及家电、机器、五金工具等类别。
“近期还将有来自印度、日本、土耳其等国家的五金配件、餐具、小家电等展品从广州白云机场、南沙港等口岸入境。为保障广交会进境展品顺利通关，海关主动对接承办单位及物流企业，第一时间掌握进境展品最新动态，针对性制定展品监管预案。”广州海关所属广州会展中心海关邓强副关长介绍。
