The 1000-mu soybean breeding base in Jiulong Townof Yingde, Qingyuan is busy with the autumn harvest. The reaping of two varieties "Huaxia No.9" and "Huaxia No.22" commenced there. The base has planted more than 1200 mu of soybeans to preserve and provide high-quality soybean seeds for large-scale planting next year. Yingde is the southernmost boundary of wild soybeans in the Chinese Mainland. It has retained many wild germplasm resources in the low latitude zone. Through innovative research and the development of new cultivation techniques, the goal of "planting northern soybean in the south" has been realized.

清远市英德市九龙镇千亩大豆繁育基地，一派繁忙秋收景象，“华夏9号”“华夏22号”两个品种开始进行收割。该基地种植了1200多亩大豆，将为基地明年的规模化种植预留种子和提供优质大豆种源。广东英德是中国大陆野生大豆的最南端界址，保留了一批低纬度带的野生种质资源，通过创新研发新栽培技术，实现“北豆南移”。
