丰收的巨型稻

The new rice variety "Giant Rice" introduced by Wujiang District of Shaoguan City was successfully tested in Longgui Town and has recently entered the harvest period. Giant rice is suitable for ecological breeding and a combination of planting and breeding in rice fields, which greatly saves human and capital costs and can drive more farmers to increase production and income. This year, Wujiang District planted two varieties of giant rice, No. 5 and No. 6, in several villages including Fengtian and Nan'an, and Longgui Town to improve the comprehensive benefits.

近日，韶关市武江区引进的水稻新品种——“巨型稻”在龙归镇试种成功，已进入收割期。巨型稻适合稻田生态养殖、种养结合，极大地节约了人力与资金成本，能够带动更多农户增产增收。今年，武江区在龙归镇凤田村、南岸村等村试种了巨型稻五号、六号两个品种，提高综合效益。
