The under-construction Ma Wan Tunnel is the first undersea tunnel in Shenzhen. The project will actively promote the development of transportation in the Greater Bay Area after its completion. The "Ma Wan" Mega-TBM plays a huge role in the undersea tunneling of the project. A few days ago, we were led by the engineering staff of this TBM into the submarine tunnel, which is 30 meters deep from sea level, to experience the working process of this "steel sea beast".
