Shenzhen, once a backward fishing village, has transformed into a booming metropolis. During the interview with photographer Chen Zonghao, we learned that he began to record Shenzhen with his camera in the 1980s. He took also took many panoramic photos of Shenzhen that year, which recorded Shenzhen in the early days of reform and opening up from a high angle and a large scene.
