As one of the highest concentrations of dilapidated housing in Guangzhou, Yongxing Fangused to have substandard public infrastructure. 广州的永兴坊曾是当地危旧房最集中的区域之一，公共基础设施薄弱。近年来，永庆坊秉承“修旧如旧、新旧融合”的微改造理念，用“绣花”功夫对老旧建筑进行修复活化。古老的永庆坊在新时代重获新生，成为广州展示岭南传统文化、老城市新活力的一个窗口。
