"Houshan" is the pen name of Wang Shaoqiang, Director of Guangdong Art Museum, and also the name of his studio. As a child growing up by the sea, Wang Shaoqiang's love for the sea stayed with him all his life, and evolved into a yearning for nature, landscape and even the universe. He believes that every work of art has its own internal logic, and reading is exactly the link between his self-pursuit and creation. #artandculture

后山，是广东美术馆馆长王绍强的笔名，也是他工作室的名字。作为一个在海边长大的孩子，王绍强对大海的热爱伴随他的一生，并演化为对自然、山水乃至对宇宙的向往，成就着他和他的艺术。他认为，艺术家的创作不是凭空而来的，每一件作品都有其内在逻辑，阅读恰恰是将他的自我追求和创作联系起来的纽带。
