Nanling Mountains, as the largest mountain range in southern China and an important physical geographical demarcation line, is home to a biological kingdom of more than 4,700 species of higher plants and 700 species of vertebrates. A group of documentary practitioners conducted investigations and studies on Nanling Mountains’ biodiversity in 2019. Using advanced photographic techniques such as aerial, infrared, microscopic and underwater photography, they recorded a large number of precious and wonderful pictures over the course of two years.
