The Laba Festival has just passed, Huichun Street in Foshan, Guangdong Province, is already bustling with various activities. The road was lined with stalls. On the walls and columns, red Spring Festival couplets can be found everywhere. “Huichun” is also known for its Spring Festival couplets, door couplets and blessing posts. Calligraphy masters write auspicious words on red paper to send people good wishes for the New Year. What we can see is a folk custom, but what we can never forget is nostalgia.
腊八刚过，广东佛山的“挥春街”就已经热闹了起来。道路两旁一个个摊位接连而摆，墙壁上、柱子上，到处都是红红的春联。挥春也作春联、门联、福帖，粤地师傅用行云流水的笔法，将吉祥如意的言辞写在喜庆的红纸上，为人们送上新年的美好祝愿。看得见的是民俗，忘不了的是乡愁。
