Wang Xiaomei, making her Paralympic debut, won the silver medal in the women’s 3km individual pursuit c1-3, giving China its first medal at the Tokyo Paralympics. Because of her brain disease, she can only move one side of her body, but not as powerfully as a healthy person. Wang Xiaomei said she would be much stricter on herself in future training so that the national anthem could be heard in the stadium. Let’s look forward to her future development!
