The young generation of Cantonese opera artists teamed up on the Cantonese opera classics “The Chinese Ghostbuster” (Zhongkui Jia Mei), “The Death of Shanbo” (Shanbo Lin Zhong) and other performances during the 2021 Performing Arts Competition for the Young and Middle-aged at the Guangdong Cantonese Opera Theatre, bringing a Chinese mythical world to life and stage. Now, more and more young artists are key to better preserve the cultural heritage and vital for the inheritance of the traditional performing art from one generation to the next.
