The 11th Guangzhou Art Season, marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), is underway from now to October 7 at major theaters across the city.

The event selects more than 60 plays nationwide, covering a variety of forms such as operas, dances, concerts, dramas, children's plays and puppet shows. Meanwhile, Guangzhou Opera House will offer discounted tickets, allowing more residents to enjoy the shows.
Apart from an opening performance of The Flag and the closing performance of The White-haired Girl, the Art Season also highlights a new adaptation of the Peking Opera New Dragon Inn, a concert of Symphony No.3 created by Gustav Mahler, a famous Austrian composer and conductor, a puppet show Mulan as well as a drama named To the World, which shares the entrepreneurship of Lingnan businessmen.

Each performance of this Art Season only receives no more than 75% of the average daily capacity, please follow self-protection procedures: wearing a mask, washing hands regularly and keeping social distance during your visit.
