Yuyan Academy in China’s Guangdong enjoys the natural advantage of sunshine and rainfall-favorable for growing fruits. There is an old lychee tree over there. Local legend has it that it has been there for a thousand years. What is amazing is that it still can bear two kinds of lychee, “Guiwei Lychee” and “Shanzhi Lychee”. Now, this old tree is still lush, full of vitality, with the sweet lychees hanging on. Bees and butterflies are attracted by its scent, the subtle fragrance present even across the river.
