【雲上嶺南】More than 500 UAVs in Guangzhou pay tribute to Yuan Longping

500架无人机缅怀致敬袁隆平

On May 22, Yuan Longping, the “Father of Hybrid Rice” and academician associated with the Chinese Academy of Engineering, passed away. People all over the country paid tribute to him in their own way. On the evening of May 25, 500 UAVs rose to the sky near the Canton Tower, and launched a light and shadow memorial activity by means of science and technology, so as to deeply mourn this great person who has worked hard all his life. The activity also expressed the grief of the whole society felt with the passing of Yuang Longping.

5月22日，“杂交水稻之父”、中国工程院院士袁隆平逝世。全国人民以各自的方式来缅怀、送别袁老，5月25日晚，500架无人机在广州塔附近齐升天际，借助科技的方式开展了一场光影缅怀活动，以此深情悼念这位一生耕耘的巨人，寄托全社会对袁老的哀思。
